I wanted to do keeley mod on my sd-1 and added other changes found on the fourm. However, after the mod the sd-1 have a lost in volume. Even at max level and distortion it is less than half the volume it use to be at stock. Anyone knows what went wrong? Or is there anything that i should change to solve the problem? Thanks a lot for all your helps in advance. Really appreciate it  ;D

Here are the list of components i had changed

C10 > replace with 1uF capacitor
C7 > replace with 1uF capacitor
R6 > replace with 2.4k resistor
R2 > replace with 620k metal film
C3 > replace with 0.1uF capacitor
C2 > replace with 0.1uf capacitor
D6 > added a toggle to switch between LED and ge diode
R17>10k
R16>100ohm
C6>removed

C10 > replace with 1uF capacitor
C7 > replace with 1uF capacitor
These two are probably electrolytic and need polarity orientation.
R6 > replace with 2.4k resistor
R2 > replace with 620k metal film
C3 > replace with 0.1uF capacitor
C2 > replace with 0.1uf capacitor
Any of these could be N/C'd or connected also somewhere they shouldn't
D6 > added a toggle to switch between LED and ge diode
Lifting diodes should boost volume output...a misconnect could reduce it.
R17>10k
R16>100ohm
C6>removed
I would go for Voltage @ pins and Audio Probe approach, to get something more tangible to go on.

Convention creates following, following creates convention.

thanks a lot petemoore...i will give check on my circuit again. hopefully i can find the problem soon :)

i tried searching for errors but i couldnt find any soldering problem. Any1 knows what went wrong base on the above changes?

Probably one of the swiching FET trannies have gotten a bit of ESD.
