Inductor Coil>"wire pickup [=how much signal?

  Just for kicks, has anyone tried inducing a signal in a wire, by putting it over/by/around a live' wah inductor?
  How much signal does it produce?..I don't know that it couldn't be used for something, but it could be useful to know how much, and 'which ways' induced signal from the indi coil tends to get into wah wiring as a prevention tool.
