Burn Unit film caps

Hi everybody, this is my first post.  I have been browsing this forum for several months.  I wish I'd known about this place a long time ago.  The search button has answered so many of my questions.  Many thanks to all. 

I do have a question - does anyone know what brand of caps are in this pedal?  It's a Barber Unit EQ.  I mean the little blue box caps.  I'm just curious - I choose parts for my pedals based not on tolerance or type, but on color!

I have some similar, but slightly larger than that are Vishay/BC Components brand.

I really like that battery clip setup there - seems like a much more elegant solution than the route I usually go.  I'll have to look around for something similar.

They look like boxed MKT polyester film capacitors.  Many companies make these.  I like to use them myself.  I think they're the same as the "green" film caps, but in a nicer little plastic box.

Thanks for the replies.  I usually use AVX box film caps because they're bright yellow and I like the shape.  The ones in the BU look very similar, just blue. I'll check out the MKT's on my next Mouser order.  Thanks again.

I think I got the blue caps from Digi-Key, I wish I could remember the brand, we use the yellow caps from Mouser now because they are easir to read values from the top...ya gotta make sure the guys are putting the correct parts in at 10am with 3 cups of LARGE coffee in them.

The blue caps sure are pretty though, let me know if you find purple box caps, we have not done that yet
