I see, good link. Please correct me if I'm wrong but from reading the article, all I need to do to check the alternative is check the data sheets of the original (JRC455) and compare the pinouts on the data sheet of the replacement (MC4558)? I've done that and from what I can gather, pins 1-8 all have the same layout i.e. 1: Output 2: -Input 3: +Input, 4: V-, 5: +Input, 6: -Input, 7: Output and 8: V+. So shoudl I assume this is a good replacement?
