Are there any projects around for a delay using a MN3005?

I have one from that "Japanese electronics book" that was around a while back that I might try.  But, I was hoping for something thats been built by some people on here and is proven to work.

Or if I could get a board for an old Boss delay that would be excellent, does anyone sell these?

Anyhow, has anyone here tried the one from the Japanese book?

I populated the board for this one: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v474/mhammer/HIFIDELAYschem.png
It uses a 570/571 compander and an MN3005.  I'm trying to build it into the chassis of an old Vantage analog delay I bought.  The original unit was lacking a bit in noise specs, so I went with this circuit since it was a step up.  The board has not been wired up to pots, switches and jacks yet, though.
Here is the board and layout: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v474/mhammer/HIFIDELAYlayout.png
Those interested in making it will need to rescale the drawing and probably touch it up a bit - what works for reading purposes is a little too jagged, tilted and mirror-imaged for PnP purposes,

Whoops.  Didn't realize I already HAD flipped the PCB layout around for PnP transfer.
