Can anybody recommend me a PNP Darlington and a low sensitivity FET...

I need a PNP low noise Darlington transistor to be used for a phase splitter type of application.

Additionally, I am looking for a low sensitivity N channel fet.  Once again, low noise is imperative.  Basically something with a bit more swing to it than a 2n5457.

Thanks,

Hi
RE:low sensitivity N channel fet
Do you mean low transconductance?  If so, the MPF102 is a candidate.  A couple of years ago I plotted transconductance vs Von for my whole JFET collection and got a solid correlation.  Not surprisingly, the MPF102 has a Von of -3 to -5 volts (while the big conductors like the J201 are at -0.5 to -1V).  Alternatively, try a 2N5856.

Do you happen to know if it is particularly low noise?  I don't have much experience with darlington pairs.

I believe the MPSA63 is PNP equiv to the MPSA13

I suppose that is exactly what I mean.  I will look into both of those!  Thanks!
