Im building a Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face clone and I was wondering what transistors would be good and where could I get them?

If you are building a Ge FF, the matched pairs are a very good idea.  If you going for Si, there are different schools of thought about it and tons of schems floating around if you search.

You should read this if you haven't:

Personally, I use 2N3906 transistors in almost all my Fuzzes because I like the abrasive sound they give. (It's much easier to smooth and tame harsh fuzz than it is to make smooth fuzz harsh ;) ) You can tame some of the harshness by running a very small cap from the collector of Q2 to ground.
However, I do also like to use 2N3904 (NPN) and 2N3906 (PNP) for Q1 and AC127/AC128's for Q2 for more of a soft clipping feel. I believe there are some Si transistors that have much lower gains that the 3904 and they'd be very suitable for the Q1 position for a more vintage sound, but i've never tried it myself. I like the compressed sound you get with higher gain Q1's.
