I know this power supply stuff has been covered a lot. However, I don't understand why 4 resistors are used in ultra clean power supply from GGG. Is it a way to achieve a more accurate output voltage? The resistors are R1:270 and 2K in parallel and R2:2K and 6.8K in parallel. It would be easier just to use R1:240 and R2:1.5K, right???

  Id hafta look.
I'm lazy on this because it's GGG, I don't get the questions without the scheamtic and most probably it's been figured out.
But I think I follow about why parallel, perhaps it's to get an exact value, I've built resistances more exactly than what the available intervals provide, when I want more nearly exactly a certain value.
