i adjusted the internal trim, and its at max power! and i have the intensity all the way up, but it doesnt CUT through like my old univibe did...it almost seems like its more of a "tremolo with slight phase" than it is like a univibe.

how can i get it to be "louder?" and more "phasey?"

am i trying to squeeze water out of a rock, here?

Me too! Too subtle here. I'm not looking for jet take off, just that the "acid hasn't knicked in" with this build.
I put in a 20K trimmer to get the sweet spot with  R13/R14 Divider at the output ( I believe this sets the phase notch point)

Try setting the LED drivertrimmer lower. Setting it high isn't an effect intensity or level of effect per se. It just sets the brightness of the LEDs.
I find that the deepest most pleasing phase setting is with the speed half way up and the depth at half to 3/4.
Follow the instructions on John Hollis's site by setting  the depth about 3/4 and turning the trim pot for the best sound.

Still not enough phase for me though, sigh.... The only variation on my build is that I used 5mm LEDs

25k will be fine.
What you want to do is replace the two 10Ks (R13 and R14) and put a trimmer in their place. Ideally you would have 10k and 10K exactly and then take the output from the junction. The trimer let you adjust the center point to get closer to the exact middle of the divider resistances. 1% resistors get you closer to this but the trimmer is settable...

I don't think that this is going to make a ton of difference Jonathan, just something to try and get a little more phase notch.
I'm going to compare mine to a friends Neovibe, I know his sounds killer, just want to see/hear them together to A/B them.

By the way. has anyone out there compared the Easyvibe to the Neovibe. Thoughts?
