Hey y'all,

Hope you're doing well. This might sound stupid, but it worked for me so I thought I'd share.
Being  one of the POOR DIYers (college = a rediculous amount of money), I didn't have and couldn't buy any strip board for a project that I wanted to work on. Also, seeing as how I'm new to all of this, I wasn't sure I was ready to make a PCB for this design. I did, however, make a generic "strip-board-like" PCB design.

Basically, it's 6 rows of 10 solder points all neatly lined up, so if anyone would like to have this (to save money or whatnot), just let me know and I'll post the design.

Hope everyone's wonderful.

yupp, I used to make 'wierd' boards, not sure I understand exactly what you have there.
I used to drill holes right into, bookcover [hardback] or countertop, twist 'n solder...
Was thinking about having a circuit around a 1/2'' tube...either permeating a dowel rod or using a copper tube, ground plane right through the middle....a 'spear' ground plane..lol.

i get it.  nice!  mark hammer once pointed out that some folks put similar patterns
on their pcb designs so that it is easier to mod later if someone wants to do so.

I believe the PCB is easier, don't know why you say it's difficult. I've done not much projects, but always PCB'ed. Just get a permanent marker, you copy the design( i do it freehand) you may arrange, pass the marker 3/4 times, acid and thats it. No wires jumpers, it increases % of error.
