Hey Guys,
I get paid tommorow and I'm going to order a bunch of parts off of Mouser.  I have read the FAQs about purchasing parts and also I have been searching the forum many hours compiling a list of parts in my Project Manager.  I just want to confirm that I can use 63V AVX Multi-layered caps.  I know a lot of people use 100V and just wanted to know if I was safe using 100v.

I'm also looking into buying resistors but am unsure of which temperature values to choose:

Thanks in advance!

16v and up for caps are fine.  i usually use whatever caps are the smallest physically.  some are 16v, 25v, 63v, 100v...whatever.  i wouldn't really worry about the temp for the resistors...in the past i've bought random lots on ebay and i've never known the temp ratings and never had problems.  carbon-comp and metal film can make a difference sonically, or so i've read...  also, they can vary in tolerance and that's probably more important.

Thanks Caress!  Yeah I was going to buy metal film resistors but slapped my face because I am spending too much $$ on music related stuff.  Woo!

check ebay.  i've bought lots of 2500 metal film for less than $20.  there are many different amounts available and it's sometimes easier than buying from mouser...

One thing to watch out for when ordering from Mouser using a debit card is that they put a hold on your account to cover merchandise plus extra for shipping, then put the actual charge through, sometimes while the hold is still there. If your checking account balance is low or there are other charges coming in, it could cause a negative balance plus overdraft fees.

Other than that, Mouser is great. Excellent part selection,  f a s t  shipping time.
