"Synth-like" fuzz?

Ok so I was wanting to build a Bazz Fuss for a while and finally got to getting one together this weekend.  I followed the article on home-wrecker.com and socketed basically everything on my perf.  I tried it with different input caps, trannies, and diodes.  I guess to me the most synth-like sounds I got were with a 4.7uf cap, 2n5088/2n5089, and a 1n914 diode.  It makes for a very thick bassy fuzz! 

I had hours of fun experimenting with different components.  I guess the best sounds I personally like are with a .047 or 4.7uf, 2n5088, and a red/orange led.  Hope this helps.
