Alpha 24mm whereever I can fit them.

16mm with lack of space.

16mm split shaft if the knobs say so.

Course I like the ones that work, so I test 'em, and I like the small ones, otherwise I use whatever I got, generally preferring new ones, but it doesn't seem to matter as long as they're not damaged.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Paul Perry (Frostwave)

Alps "snap-in" (pcb vertical mount). Saves a lot of wiring :icon_wink:

Mostly 16mm Alphas, some 24mm's solid or split.
For the split I push some small plastic between the teeth to make it
stiff for attaching knobs otherwise knobs twist when turned around :D

of course you want it to suit the knob.. most of the coolest knobs seems to have the D shafts... unfortunately you have to cut the pots down to size to suit where as with the split shafts they are usually fine. anybody else notice this?
Blood, Sweat & Flux. Pedals made with lasers and real wires!

just to be different Citec, 20mm, D shaft. Or whatever cheap surplus ones I can get my hands on.

Taiwan Alpha's from Smallbear, though I would like to try out some PCB mounting ones sometime to test m,y board layout stills.
