need compressor help!!!

Hey I'm building a 2 in one compressor ross and orange squeezer. My question is with a tonepad board how do you wire the attack trimpot to make it an external potentiometer?(which lead goes to what wiper) And also i was just curious if any one has used the tonepad os comp board and noticed that the board has different values on it for the 82k resistor (470k) and the board isn't marked for the 4m7 resistor either I would assume the 82k and 4m7 need to be in place? hey there!  if you are talking about the trimpot on the ross comp board, that's not exactly an attack control.  it isn't something you'd want to wire with.  you want to set it and forget it

jlullo - dead correct.

It's not an attack control. It's a balance control to keep the gain-control signal from feeding through into the audio path. It's a thump balancer-outer.
