Changing green russian small stone footswitch to a 3pdt? any info? guides? tutor

does anyone know if there are any pics or tutorial or guides to replace a green russin small stone stomp[ on/off] footswitch into a 3pDt switch?  here is a pic... oddly, theconnections are numbered.



I am thinking that changing the switch would effectively stop the very faint background "cycling" of the phase effect.
