VIsual sound jekyll & hide problem on the hide side

Hello everybody, i have a problem with a VS pedal of a friend of mine, the jekill & hide sounds really amazing, IMHO one of the most versatile and pleasing sounding pedals out there, but this one have a problem on the hide side, the output level is very very low even at max level settings. The jekill side works fine. What can be happened?
