Hello, im looking for either guidance on how to make a 3PDT switch within eagle or maybe a readily made one if anyone has one to spare and share;)

I checked out www.gaussmarkov.net site (excellent informative site btw), his version seems like the pads are mislaid in the actual package, and seems very awkward to try to correct and the pads are mega small, i have tried to correct his version, but i always get that "package in use error" when i try to delete the pads as they are misaligned. You would see what I mean if you load it up.

Ive printed a few variations, and the bleeding pads never line up! :icon_evil:

Maybe theres slight size differences with the Tiawan 3pdt?
But it looks the same as any other to me.

Heres a quick few measurements

The thing ive noticed with eagle, its a pain in the arse to use the editor(amognst other things), very awkward and clumsy, which makes it difficult and frustrating to use IMO.

Thank you , hope someone takes the time to write back!

I have now figured out the program and created some custom components, feel stupid for asking now!
they look a bit rough but seem to be OK

Still a clumsy feel to the program though!

Good on you for the perseverence. I'm having a hard time with that learning curve myself.

Yeah the program is good, but has many small and big things to wind you up!
As I said clumsy.

This is all I wanted it for, was to make a board that has hardly no wiring and a method to actually secure the board in place, as I am starting to hate wiring with a passion, as it takes up way to much time!

Heres a test board pic:

Ill try it again tommorow properly.

We're two that hates wiring with passion... I made something like that but with Express PCB. I went to Cliff's web page (www.cliffusa.com), there you got the CAD Drawings with exact dimensions... Use that to make an accurate desing, worked fine for me!!!...

Here's the link to the drawings of DPDT and 3PDT
