2.2k instead of 2.7k

any thoughts on if i can use a 2.2k resistor instead of a 2.7k on a rebote 2.5 from tonepad?  the link is  http://tonepad.com/project.asp?id=51  i havent built this pedal before but it seems like a popular one based on the build reports...
