I'm having a hell of a time trying to find one, 10K linear.  Any help would be most appreciated.

check out pages 537 and 538 in the mouser online catalog..theres a couple there for ya

Futurlec has it (http://futurlec.com/Potentiometers/POT10KDUALpr.shtml) but it'll have PCB pins rather than solder lugs.  Also, try Mouser part numbers 313-1250f-10k and 31VW401-F.  This is one of those cases where the paper catalog is a lot more useful than the web site.  Take a look at the pdfs of the catalog pages to be sure that you're getting what you think you are.  There may also be other options in adjacent pages.
