Where in the UK do you get your pots?

I can't seem to find decent length shafts. All I seem to find are the 16mm ones with shafts that are too long for normal knobs, and the shafts that are solid and smooth tend not to facilitate for knobs with a screw fixing, after a few turns the screw unscrews itself!

which you can cut the shaft to lenght. of course  they are the bigger which may not suit some projects

ah ha! theat's the ones I'm after, short spindle so the knobs can go flush against the enclosure.
