using http://www.lynx.bc.ca/~jc/nyquistAliaser.html schematic, does anyone know if it would be detrimental to sub 2n5485's for the 2n5457's and also 2n5088's for the 2n5210's?  i checked the datasheets for all, and both the 2n5485 and the 2n5088 have higher ratings overall compared to the 2n5457 and 2n5210...

Both the 2N5210s are just being used as buffers so you can use pretty much any NPN transistor, I used 2N3904s.
Not sure about the 2N5485s. J201s and 2N5458s definately work.

great!  i've got plenty of j201's lying around.

I used 5952's except in the very first position where I used a J201.  I used 1458's for the NPN's.  Most dual opamps I tried worked.  This circuit can be tricky depending on the components used.  Especially with the jfets.  I tried all j201's and had trouble.  I also tried MPF102's with minimal results.
