I've just built and I'm troubleshooting. I think it's the LM13600 IC. According to mouser.com, it's discontinued. Now what?

LM13700 is typically a good replacement in most situations where the LM13600 is used.  Most OTA's in general would probably work as long as the pinout is the same.

I got my LM13600 at futurlec.com.  They still had them last time I ordered from them.

LM13700 should be fine if you cant get a LM13600. NE5517 is direct copy of LM13700 also.
It is very easy to damage a LM13600 or LM13700 by running too much current thru pin 1 or 16. Momentary short to power will do it.
