Anyone ever try this?  I have a SD-1 with a fried board , and I want to rehouse another OD circuit in it.  The only thing I think that may be a little difficult is the switching.. anyone have any advice on how to put a 3pdt switch in there?

Might be fun to use the existing momentary switch, since you're using the case.  Personally  I never felt like the standard 3pdt switches are the ideal physical shape for stomping, other bigger buttons are easier to hit with a hasty foot, softer, nicer for bare feet, more reliable...  if you're interested look at this article by the Tone God, with the existing SPST momentary switch in the boss you'd want to build the "momentary switch with inverter gates".  Theres also a good article  on Geo about electronic switching.

It would be pretty funny to put a big muff or something similarly heavy in the case, and people would wonder why their SD-1 didn't sound like that.
