Large transformer I think has sufficient current delivery.
I'm not as certain about the diodes, but they are the big body type.
Is there something I'm missing or should I try this?
I'll probably opt for separate, shielded amplifier enclosures at least.
Should I see reasons why this would be a problem?

Absolutely, but you want to filter the crap out of it IMO.

I use 10k µF on each rail.

Be careful there Pete.

Here is my stereo LM3886 amp using one PS.

syndromet

That works fine. That is actualy the most common way to power a stereo amp...

  That's happening !!
I keep figureing out all the ground wires as I go...
What was included in the subgroups of grounds which run back to the transformer did you use?
I figured because all very few V-'s are all on the same wire on the schematic..so I ran all V-'s through 1 Gnd. wire to CT.
the 'Gnd.' on the board being just the two filter caps getting a wire.
Then I ran a wire from
  Speaker -
  Input jack -
Input pot - [though it would seem the input jack and volume pot could share
  the 10uf
  Pin 7
  Well that's six, I think that's it...maybe one more.
Oh...the chassis is otherwise not connected, but I think I'll put that on the safety ground.
So far it's working nicely, I got everything completed, tested for shorts etc., re-traced a buncha stuff...it fires right up!
It's kind of a 'wing thing' the transformer being the 'base' and amp boxes off each side.
  That makes 4 so far...
  1 smoked
  1 for Xover/HF drivers
  2 for bass ...or whatever!!!
I have amps appearing left right and center now !
