I'm building a Big Muff from Mark M's layout and I believe there may be an error in one of the part values.  Would someone be willing to have a look and tell me if Cap 10 should really be .01pf?  I think it might have to be .01mf.  Here's the link

I know what some of you are thinking, "Why don't you PM MarkM and ask him?".  Well, because I've populated the board (save for this last cap) already and I figured I'd get a quicker response this way.  Can't tell when Mark will be online next.

Also, this post in no way is meant to malign, disparrage or impugn MarkM in any way.  I'm merely seeking some help about something I'm unsure of.  :icon_wink:

Yeah, I think you're right. It's in the tonestack, so .01uf makes sense... .01pf would be... less than 2 insulated hookup wires twisted... :P

Must be a typo...

Definately 0.01uF.
Note that caps usually have units of microfarads, uF, and picofarads, pF, and sometimes nanofarads, nF, but only rarely millifarads, mF. 1 mF = 1000 uF.

No problem, THANK YOU for the prolific work you do. I'd wager that 90% of the pedals I've built have been from your layouts.   ;D
