I'm building the regulated power supply from GGG. My problem is when I install the four diodes my transformer output drops from 15.8v to 1.8v. If I remove the diodes the voltage goes back up to 15.8v. I have checked to make sure I have the orientation of the diodes matching the pcb layout. I have tried installing a bridge rectifier and I experience the same problem. I'm using a transformer from SB and 1N4002 diodes. I sure could you some help.

either u have a short ond your board, or youre measuring AC voltage after the diodes(should be dc).
