Hey all!  :icon_biggrin:

First post here. I've been doing a lot of research here and checking out the links up top. This past week I did a BYOC-based build (Rat) and loved it, now I'm going to put together a Rangemaster. I'm a big fan of the simple circuit stuff (some of those booteek pedals that have one knob but lots of versatility), and I'm a big Vox guy so I gotta do it  :icon_wink:

I'm going to be wiring it on terminal strips (a la GEOFEX), so I don't think that'll be an issue. I was thinking ahead about some cool mods I could do after the basic build is done. I found the one where you add a 3-way toggle between 3 input caps to get different boosts, also I was thinking about throwing in an 3PDT w/ an LED. I'm also going to socket the OC44 so I can try other stuff. Any suggestions for things to try would be appreciated!

One thing I found was it's hard to use sockets if you're building on terminal strip - it's probably doable, but awkward.
Switchable input caps is a good idea, but I'd go with a narrow range of vaues - the 'full range' boost is kind of a misuse of this circuit IMO, it's designed as a treble boost and that's what it does best - better to build a separate boost than try to get this one to do it all.
I don't think you need an LED on this - you'll know when it's on  ;)
good luck!
