well...i guess i'm the only keyboardist here.   :D

No you're not , that's my "first" instrument !
I wasn't using real DIY stuff, but I did use a modified Boss PS-3, Dano rocky roads and a P90 on
the output of my Nord lead classic for a while !  ( inputs temporarily altered for line input levels )

Just got myself a new Korg Triton Extreme after a nasty touring DROP of my other Triton made it
totally useless ..... sometimes expensive insurance cover IS worth having !!
It even has a 12AT7 in it FWIW  !!

Two weeks ago, a friend´s marriage.

ESP strat with 3 s/c through:

- Ed Guidry´s BSIAB II
- Tonepad´s Rebote Delay 2.5
- Tonepad´s Small Stone
- Non DIY Boss Dynamic Filter
- Tonepad´s TS 808 (Loaned to the other guitarist, whose DOD overdrive crapped out!  :icon_mrgreen: :icon_mrgreen: My things are more reliable! Sweet!)

To a Fender Hot rod Deluxe.

Sounded GOOD (the stuff, not so sure about my playing... ::))

i should probably search (and i will...) but how did you alter your inputs for line level?  i've thought about that quite a bit, but i use a lot of my pedals on my rhodes and it doesn't a very hot output, so no real problems yet.

Well, yes the Rhodes has more of a guitar type output ... right ?
Most pedals, Boss DM2/DS-1 etc will have a quite small resistor in series with the input
something like a 10k or 1k etc, as they are expecting quite a small signal from a guitar, from 100mv
to perhaps 800mv.
Just increase this perhaps 10x or 20x for a more beefy line input ( synth such as Nord or Korg )
I think that I used some 220k's and it seemed to work well, no distortion, unless I wanted it and
the signal out was fine.
I took a guess, someone else may have a better solution, the pedals in question are back "stock" now.

No audience but at rehearsal I used :
Rat
Highway 89 (other guitarist always borrows it.)
TS 808
Ultra Flanger
and Rebote 2.5
Of course all DIY's.  My band thinks I'm some kind of electronics genius.  I tried to get the other guitarist interested in stompbox building since he asked so many questions.  But his attention span is like 2 seconds and then he's bored so forget it.  You have to have patience if you're going to build effects circuits.

I used to have a 13 pedals pedalboard... all store bought but all modded...

But now...

Fender Jaguar HH --- Boss Tu-2 --- GCB95 (modded as HELL!) --- Tonemender DIY --- Ibanez FL-9  --- Boss CS-2 --- Red Llama DIY ---  Whisker Biscuit DIY --- Thing Modulator DIY --- Boss DD-3 --- Peavy Classic 50

I also have built BSIAB2 (don't like it... I'm not a marshall sound fan), Blue Magic (for a friend), Jawari (don't use it), Fuzz Face (don't like it), omega (love it but have no use for now), LPB-2 (meh!) and an Easyvibe (Still debugging it).

In the near future... will try to build a pt-80... after that... I will probably stop pedal building (my pedalboard will be complete for my needs) and will probably venture in tube amps... but not before I read and read some more...

When I stumbled on this forum a year ago, I was determined to build some pedals I still had on my "to buy" list - compressor, tremolo, Sparke Drive, X number of distortion boxes. I *really* wanted a tremolo :)  It took me a while, but I now have built and played in gigs,

sparkle drive
tremolo
OD 250
red llama

The only "store bought" item in the chain is my Boss tuner..
Our rhythm guitarist noticed the sounds right away. "That blue pedal has some great tones!"   :) :) :)
( That's the sparkle drive ) Thanks to everyone here! And I'm grateful for the Store here, and Steve's & Smallbear.

I played my finished Ge Axis Face (Ginger Muff) last night for the first time in a band situation.

The thing is amazing, so awesome.
We cover purple haze and voodoo child, and the fuzz nails the tone. I use my NPN boost at the end of my chain for solo boosts, and it is really effective, especially with my fuzz - it totally sings!
I can turn the gain down on my Ginger Muff, and change the bias via external pot to be smooth thick and creamy - it is odd, you can hear the clean guitar through the fuzz, and the fuzz just adds all this sweet smoothness to it. It is awesome!

I am fully happy with both of my pedals I've learnt to build from here. I cant wait to use them at our gig in a couple of weeks!
Next up is the Easyvibe  :icon_cool:

i have to get my hands on some of your germs.  very soon.
Anywhere but here, that would seem odd...

I didn't gig, but I did a live recording where the guitar player used my Mayer Axis Fuzz.  I had initially wired it without a fuzz pot, but put it in after so it was hanging on wires out the side of the pedal.  It sounded so good I wished I was playing guitar instead of drums!  It's fun to hear your diy pedals second hand!

For humor's sake, I give you the recording in question.  My friend is a terrible singer (really, really bad), and he starts in the wrong key because he is screwing around.  This was recorded completely live, with us all in the same living room, and I think the guitar sounds great.  Bass, guitar, drums, no overdubs, pretty bad.  I am the drummer.  Don't hold this against me.

;D happens the same things to me.

The other guitar player of my band could have buyed a new car with all the effects he buyed in the last three years: keeley, analogguru pedals, centaur klon, old maxons, moogs.... I probably spent 200$ of parts in the last two years

Music

My setup last friday's night:

Fender American Stratocaster
Revibe(reverb & vibrato unit from Ted Weber)
Wah
Rebote 2.5(Tonepad)
TS-808(Tonepad)
Phase45(Tonepad)
Dist+(GGG)
Fender Super Bassman 100W(clone)

Using ts808 + dist plus to create a fuzz effect plus phase45 very close to hendrix sound.
Sounded great! playing some hendrix stuff.
