My two favorite guitars at the moment is in my sig:
(and probably the most interesting)

[Other guitars are for instance cheap LP copy I modded the hell
out of with new pups+electronics, Coil-tap+ seriell/parallel switches,
variatone switch and killswitch mods. ]

They are both High-end Matsumuko made in Japan 1982 vintage.
And I'm way too happy with the stock pup in em to change.

Westone Prestige 150


This is the 1982 rare model with a -very- dark Charcoal finish.
It's an equal to a Gibson Les Paul Custom in tone and build and weighs a ton.
Pickups are one of matsu's hidden gems some very very well built PAFs MMK75's
Love it, tons of Meat in the tone! Muscular Guttural sound.
Controls are 2 Volume 2 Tone But the tone controls has a  notched middle point and rolling
em back past that mixes Seriell-Parallel on the pickups (stock feature)

Aria Pro II CS-400BnG


This is another 1982 MIJ Matsu original from the "Cardinal Series" Black and Gold.
It's carved top SG-ish With a very Bright tone.
Pups are the more well-known MMK45's screaming pickkups high output, often
sold for ridiculous cash online.
Tone of this is Seriously Pissed of, an "angry" frantic tone. Love it as well.

Seriell/Parallel toggle and Full Coiltapp (single pickup) Toggle (Stock feature)

I'm adding a bunch of pictures cause, why not? They are after all unusual
(and IMO awesome) shapes these two, not often seen. keeping em small.

I may have displayed them once before... I don't remember, sorry !

Here are the ones I have, from LEFT to right :

- FENDER BlueOut Deluxe Telecaster : a LPB Mex Telecaster DIY-ized with a BlackOut Deluxe Telecaster load, and "5+1" selector to have the Tele and the Strat world.
- GRETSCH Pro-Jet G5435 BLK : with DIY-installed B-5 Bigsby and custom-made plate.
- GRETSCH Synchromatic G100 : DIY turned to left. A solely acoustic instrument.
- GIBSON ES-335TD from 1980 : bought 30 years ago, still here, with DIY B-7 Bigsby and custom-made plate addition from the late 80's.
- HAGSTROM Viking : with DIY-installed B-7 Bigsby.

Our leftie guitarist kept it a secret for years (he plays right-handed) until I saw him pick up a pencil!  My mum (leftie) eats right-handed.  My wife (rightie) holds and deals cards left-handed.

thats just weird and unnatural...his rhythm is in his left hand...that must screw with his head somewhat.....if i try to play right hand i feel like a total noob.....

i can play upside down though...

I have to say he's not the most natural rhythm player.  But when he decides to do a little picking on his acoustic, it's quite sweet.

i can play upside down though...

Me too.  But that's if I've half fallen off my seat due to drink.

ahhh another lefty joins the gang .......i just got this cheapo encore off evilbay for £30.00,..result!..... i just wanted a cheapo lefty strat type thing to use for sustainer experiments and other mad stuff.. etc....so yes its going to be butchered
i took a search around and haven't seen one like this...i thought someone had stuck lots of bits together (bastardized) but apparently not...the lady i bought it off sent me loads of pics...anyone seen one like this?...or thrown one out..
i'm glad its got a faux floyd on it...instead of a nasty non floater..its still got the stickers on the neck  too.....i pick it up saturday...
