Damn... that thing looks broken, you better send it to me!

I'm fighting the urge to pull my pics of my plywood planks before the edit time is up.  :icon_lol:

Those planks are great, the cool thing is I could probably have guessed they were yours without being told.

Our bass player had one of those Aluminium necked Kramers, if that's what it is, it sounded amazing, but it was a constant fight to stop the headstock taking chunks out of the stage.

Hey skull servant, aluminum neck bass?
My amp guy Gary Donovan just sold a bass exactly like that
YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT LARGE PEDALBOARDS....

.... I BET YOU WISH YOUR PEDALBOARD WAS AS LARGE AS MINE

Yeah it's a fretless Kramer 450B. Got it from a dude on a different forum, it plays a dream. And it hits lows that I never knew existed!

Other than the fact that the neck always wants to dive towards the floor, and don't play it outside in the winter!!!

These are all sitting in a shop near me, and could be mine!  All reasonably priced too.

Anybody know their value?  The shop has them listed very low.  The one design I can't even find reference to on Kramer pages.

Try a little tenderness.

I kind of liked the first fish one, but then he went folkart bananas. He's slowly selling them though.

I kinda like the gator lap steels, though...

Warrants a better picture, but this is from our weekend session. 1964 ES-335 that lived under my girlfriends bed for a decade. She told me once "i have this guitar, it was my mom's"... I thought "oh that's nice" until one day curiosity got the better of me. "Let's see that guitar", it was like the scene in Pulp Fiction where they look in the case.

Why should you not have 90o angles? Do the electrons bunch up in the corners?

Well, it looks like I'll have another new guitar to show off next week. MF is selling two colors of the Squier Cyclone for $155. They gave me another 5% off pretty much just for asking. I couldn't say no. I'm addicted to cheap guitars. Too much effort to DIY, and too much fun to pass up.

It's my first black guitar, first humbucker/single coil combo guitar, first Squier, and first non-traditional shape (Strat, Tele, LP, etc) guitar. They're made in Indonesia as factory special runs. Apparently, they're pretty nice for the price. Fender string saddles, decent pickups and tuners, and a pearloid pickguard. 24.75" scale.

I'll post some pics when it arrives. :)

Mike

If you're not doing it for yourself, it's not DIY. ;)

It must be hard to find a black guitar in outer space.
