Lol... I noticed that after it was posted, as well. I only glanced at it and thought it just had a small headstock, thought of the "little hands, big burger" guy, chuckled and went on.

Nope, it's a 25.5" scale. If you rotate it, the weird perspective is pretty obvious.

Little update.
In the middle - Kramer ProAxe US 1990 - breathtaking sound, incredibly comfortable and lightweight axe. So small and inconspicuous, but when you plug her into the amplifier, Lucifer rising.
Mahogany/maple with ebony + EMG81 and old Floyd Rose "PRO" just kick ass.

Got this Squier Strat in a trade a few months ago and never really played it. Got a PRS P90 in a trade a few weeks ago, and popped it into the guitar. Instant favorite. Took a little sanding to get it in there, but it fits and sounds great. Took all the other electronics out so all thats left is a simple volume. Sprayed the pickguard black as well!

Folks, I'm pretty sure I've got a problem... I can't stop buying guitars.

In the last ten months, I have bought two basses, and three guitars.

If I don't stop soon, there is a definite possibility that you may see me on Intervention.

Seriously, though, I am only buying one guitar in 2012. It arrived TODAY! I picked up a brand new Fender Standard Strat in Arctic White with a maple fretboard.

I had wanted one for a long time to complement my other Strat. I've had my American Standard for about about 20 years, and I love it, but I have always wanted a maple fretboard Strat. The timing was right, and I got a great deal.

I kept an eye on Ebay / Craigslist / pawn shops for months before I decided to get it. Ebay didn't work out because of shipping, and not being able to play the guitar. Craigslist and pawn shops didn't work out because the color I wanted never turned up, and I could buy brand new for about $75 more.

Unfortunately, I won't get to plug it in until tomorrow, due to the president impolitely scheduling his state of the union address on MY new guitar day. The nerve of some people.

Well, I guess I should post this now:

That's the SX guitar I ordered a couple weeks ago, it arrived last Thursday. The body wood doesn't look as good as in the Rondo photo and I'm not crazy about the knots, but on the plus side, the neck is glossy, which I didn't expect. Also, it sounds pretty good for a $120 guitar. I was planning to replace the pups, but now that I've played around with it I'm not sure that it would be worth it. On the hardware side, the bridge has a better feel than the Squier bridges I've tried, but the tuners and nut definitely need replacement. I've already replaced the low E tuner with one I had lying around because the stock one couldn't tune all the way up to E, it would just slip at D#. Otherwise, not too noisy, electronics work well, and nice, well-installed jumbo frets. So I plan to replace some of the hardware and do some mods, but altogether a good bargain.

Here's my latest addition : a GRETSCH G5435LH BK - waiting for its Bigsby B-5 LH to be installed - when I will find the time to do it !

A nice and great sounding chinese-made instrument, way over its cheap price - I recommend it...

oh glad to hear! I have an agile les paul copy that's served me well with some minor setup and tweaking. Really a hit or miss if you want a playable axe out of the box, but if you can set upa guitar and do minor stuff it's a helluva deal
