I guess I should start to include some other family members:

Ibanez RBM-1 on the left (about 20 years old).  Steinberger Spirit XT-25 on the right (only ~18 months).

Thanks!!

It's a 2003 6120DC. Made in Japan. I was thinking about getting a vintage one, but all the bods on the Gretsch forums unanimously steered me towards getting a MIJ. Surprised me.

J200 in the background, good spot!

My Behringer strat project has been on hold for a while, but yesterday I finished the nut, at least so much I could install it. It still needs some adjustments but I can do that in place.

Thanks! For woods: pretty much all of them. Pine body with walnut top, and a mahogany neck.

Just an update. I'm finally done with this guitar, well maybe for the time being.

I found a trem arm and did learn how to put a Bazz Fuss in place of the Boost switch which wasn't really one anyways.  ;D
Circuit under the switch, Battery under the tailpiece.
60% of the time it works everytime...

Hi everybody, my recently finished build, lapsteel guitar experiment (just two beech doorstills glued together), main motivation was to have something to nail High Hopes solo maybe little better:

Click pic for hi-res, full gallery, audio demo (please note, it was first time I did play something in open tuning and on lapsteel, don't expect too much virtuosity there :icon_mrgreen:)
