I'm not Jeremy  ;D but I wanna answer too! haha

I mainly only owned one main electric most of my life I've had a few random guitars float through my hands but for the most part my main player was a 1995-96 fender strat special opac blonde '62 reissue with all maple neck.

It was a low production guitar not many made from what I can tell. It was all '62 reissue american hardware except it had a humbucker in the bridge with a coil switch replacing the second tone control. that was factory.

I loved the maple neck very fast and smooth felt good overall and I played the heck out of it for years. About a year and a half ago I bought a custom made 1 piece cocobolo neck and I left it unfinished raw no nitro finish. I just lemon oil it up once in a while. Being raw and such a resonate wood It changed the sound of the guitar and the feel. I swear you can feel the notes vibrate under the finger in a much more pronounced way then my other guitars.

Its a much more raw feel and makes playing different but really nice for blues and feeling bends. Id like to try a V shape neck some time I hear the shape gives you nice extra thumb leverage on the back.

I can't say I prefer one over the other I'd say it depends on what I'm playing that day. I do like the look of exotic dark woods though and the feel of raw is a nice change. But overall maple is the fastest smoothest feeling neck I've played.

The humbucker in the bridge on the strat I thought I loved for years, but now I almost always keep it in single mode because it has way more high end and I want that high end to cut through a mix. The humbucker is maybe a db or 2 louder but its missing the high end a single coil has in that position, so the single cuts through the mix better for me.

I put my strat and my les paul copy up since I got my new (used) guitar a Schecter C-1 E/A . It has a similar scale neck to my selmer stype gypsy acoustic and it just makes playing 100x easier. I was always a strat person but I find myself wanting a tele lately.

I have a strat with a V shaped maple neck, and it's really nice.  I find standard strat/tele necks a little too skinny, so the V is a nice inbetweener if a boat neck is too large.

I made this a few years ago and forgot to post it.

American tele body (Flat Black), Japanese tele neck.  Bridge is a Wilkinson, with the intonatable saddles.  It's a great bridge because you can go through body with the strings, or do a top loader. Pick up is a Duncan Broadcaster.

Try a little tenderness.

I like them both, I just happen to have owned more maple fretboards for some reason. It's all about looking the era to me. I don't hear or feel a difference even though some people swear they can.
My favorite strats are the Mary Kaye 62 RI and the Masterbuilt 54 RI's, but I think my next purchase might be a rosewood board Eric Johnson signature. I love his guitars but hate the pickups in them. I have no idea why they sound so bright and wimpy when his clean tone is so fat and midrangey on recordings.

If I had the money for just a COUPLE of the beauties within these pages........

I don't though, so it's budget, budget, budget!

I bet the combined worth wouldn't even buy a second-hand USA strat.... lol

They do me fine though, and I'm more than happy with the way they play/sound, and that's all that matters at the end of the day!

Looking back at some of these recent pictures featuring multiple axes, it reminds me of some of the pictures taken by our drummer at gigs...

Always reminds me of a music shop when we play live.   ;D

(BTW, none of these are mine.  I travel "lite" these days - one bass is plenty.)

Fairly new J-45, from the looks of it.  Gotta watch out for J-45's.  The good ones will break your heart, `cause they wreak you for most other guitars; the bad ones will break your heart `cause they are so bad, and you know it could have been so much better.

I believe its a 2010 (I forget) J-45 True Vintage. It's a recreation of the Banner era Gibson guitars (1942-1945). Amazing guitar, I just love it.

Thanks man, those aren't all my axes but they're pretty much the only ones that I play other than my Blueridge BR-240 acoustic which I LOVE.

My current weapon of choice, Reverend Double Agent II. Have bought guitars costing well over double what I paid for this (£550 new) but this one has trounced them all, really great quality and sound for the price!

Nice collection but how's that pickup in the SG?

I like it a lot, but as you can see I'm not really a Gibson guy so your mileage may vary.  It's basically a Firebird mini-humbucker with a plastic cover.  It's a really great guitar for playing rock and roll.
