Any uses for these transistors?

I recently bought a few transistors and diodes off eBay.

Anybody think of any projects/circuits they would be well suited for, please?

What are their tonal characteristics?

They are -
CV7044 (OC201) x13
CV7006 (OC72) x2
CV7040 (OA202) x5
MZ8.2 (1N1511) x4
CV7464 (2N706A) x4
CV488 (GEX34) x6
CV4073 (SX641) x2

Thanks in advance for the help :)

Ah cool! Thanks for the info, Paul.
Do you know which ones in particular? Or their original uses?

are they all pnp?

I'm not sure, I don't think so.
I think some of them are early silicon transistors too.

If you can't find any data, use your ddm diode tester. If voltage drop is about 250 they are Ge. If 600 then Si.
Also to know if they are pnp put the black terminal on one of the legs, and touch the two others. If you get 250 on both readings, then it is pnp and at least you identified the base.

My bad, only the OC72, GEX34 & SX641 are Ge so far as I can see. The OC2021 is an early PNP Ge.

Just wack 'm in those multiface sockets and try 'm out, no better way to test them.
