Thanks!  The Ruby usually responds well, provided that you aren't overdriving the amp input.  I haven't tried any FX with the MacRuby yet, though.

Looks great, I have been planning on building one of these but couldnt decide which batteries to use.  How long do the 8AA's last you? I was thinking about using 8 C's but that would weigh too much/take up too much space

You could look at those small 12v lead acid batteries, although obviously they are quite heavy, but they go to quite small size and you would get a bit more clean headroom out of your ruby. I've got one in the back of my converted park amp.

True, it was fully functional, but I just wasn't spending much time pwning Werdna in Wizardry!
