Enclosure finishing

Like many here, I'm always on the quest for a great finishing method.  Clear coating is a total pain in the ass; if you don't apply it at just the right time it eats the damn paint and wrinkles it up - I REALLY HATE THAT.  Recently I tried Beavis's Box in a Day method:

Which worked out totally awesome!  Although my finish didn't smooth out entirely, there were still some visible brush strokes, and the finish is rippled a little.  Which actually can look really cool if that's what you're going for, but I wanted it smoother so I picked up a can of Spray Polyurethane instead.  And man, it works awesome.  It creates a great looking finish and there's no chance of it eating off the paint when you spray it on.  The finish is still ends up a little bit rippled, and slightly yellowed (actually only noticable on pure whites), but I think it looks really cool.  Although that stuff is a little pricey; 7-8 buck a can.  Anyway, just wanted to share.
