i just hooked up a mini blender to a bazz fuss and i can't tell it the blender is working? my question is the blender pot is acting more like a volume? i assumed that as i rolled back the pot the fuzz would go away and the clean signal would come in?

i am using the layout in this thread as my guide. i'm wiring them together so i am getting signal for the fuss from the input jack. i ran the output of the fuss to the blender pot i also ran the blender output to the pot and i have the wiper lug going to the switch. i tried removing the input cap of the blender to see if i could hear a difference, and i could but very little. and when i turn the blender pot all the way down it cuts all the signal completely. should it do that?

so i went over the mini blender again and have all the parts in correctly and to  the best of my knowledge the wiring is good. again i don't know how this blender works but all it seems to be doing is taking out some of the fizz. it doesn't seem like i'm getting a separate clean signal?
