Digitech whammy preset controller

Hi,
i have a whammy 4 and i really like it. but now seeing it has a midi plug, i was thinking if a can build a stompbox to go up and down thru all the  preset.
it that possible? are there any schem somewhere?

not sure if its any help but I use my BOSS GT3 or my Behringer FCB1010 to control my Whammy , I also find the pedals a bit stiff so I use the exp pedals on the other two as I can switch which way the pedal travels just check the manual for the midi numbers its quite easy
