Hello.
I'm new and am pretty sure I put this in the wrong section.  So....apologies.

I'm pretty new to the whole building thing (just modded pedals and built a WH Red Llama), so have been cruising for good things to build.  As I'm in Japan for the forseeable, I was looking for parts on various websites I can't read so well.  I happened upon this.

Maybe it's of use to some people.  I actually have the pedal so I don't need to make another :)

I know the chip's way obsolete but.......anyway.

Again, pleased to meet you all. I thought I'd share something before I start harassing you all for layouts of bitcrushers... :D

That's thoughtful of you.  A bit like bringing flowers or cake when you visit someone for the first time.  Thanks, and welcome aboard! :icon_biggrin:!

Yes, thanks!

Does anyone know how the DM-3 might have differed from this? I have one at home and could - and probably will - compare it myself, but wanted to see if someone else already knows.

When it comes to delay pedals, I'm becoming a bit like that neighbor kid in the movie Toy Story, who mutilates and recombines all of his toys...

DM-3 has a slightly longer delay time, uses different BBD chips (possibly) and has two outputs.  That's all I know.  Or don't know.... ummm. Yeah.  :icon_redface:

Flowers in the form of an obsolete delay schematic.  I like it!

Seriously,  where I've just moved in Japan, I had to buy 14 gifts to give to the neighbours and the landlord's family.  Not fair :(

Thanks for that - looks like a great build.
I love that "cat's hand" programmable looper you've done, looks amazing!
Is it for sale?

woah woah woah!

I merely found them whilst looking for parts suppliers in Japan.

No credit to be placed anywhere near my front door.  Just something I thought would be worth sharing!

My DM-2 goes funky over 12v (in a bad way) so I don't recommend a dual 9v input unless you use regs on them.  9v battery = fine, 9v DC = so-so.

Wow, I thought the MN3005 only ran on -15/15 volts...  Can this circuit run on 9v?

MetalGuy

I think this board can be used for DM-3 as well. Maybe some minor tweaks will be necessary and MN3205s are really cheap these days.

I guess I am confused by this circuit - it looks like this is set to run a MN3005 at 9v.

I have a MN3005 waiting for a project - this one looks good - but I don't understand what the power source is supposed to be...

Can anyone confirm the power supply for this circuit, using the specified MN3005?

Thank you!!
