im in the middle of doing the "SRV TUBESCREAMER SPECIAL" on vero - its done (21x12 vero) but i have to build it first to verify before posting..

if you can wait a couple of days you can have a go with the "SPECIAL" one..

Magnus,

You could also try my layout of the Dynamic Overhype here:

It's basically a tweaked 808 based on Torchy's vero layout with switchable clipping diodes.  It sounds way better to me than my modded reissue TS9.

The SRV Special is a really Good sounding circuit.....I have a PCB layout for it and I must say it's probably one of the better TS variants around.
A vero would certainly help alot of folks around here it  Ulysses.
Just be prepared for a few "jeers".  :D

yeah i had a look at yours in preparation for doing a vero version.

yours looks really nice - i was going to put a recommendation on my vero for people to use yours if they wanted a pcb version.

To me it's a bit more aggressive than the regular TS. It has a pleasing tone to it, full sounding, middy of course, and like I said closer to a distortion sound as the drive pot gets closer to Max.
Not being a real big TS fan, I do like the sound of it quite a bit actually!
JC did a nice job on this circuit.
Do a search for SRV Special and read a little history on this build.
It's in my initial post about this circuit.....the one with all the flaming in it!  :icon_lol:
