When using rotary switches for use switching diodes, caps or transistors is it better to have make before break or breal before make.

Any ideas

i believe break-before-make is what you need

Gut feeling...
If you are switching passive components, like didoes or caps, I think the make-before-break
would product less popping when switching.

Anyone agree?

I would go with make before break for most things.
