I have a 'depth' pot which comes from the 250k trimpot on a phase 90 board.
I wish I knew which board, or had a schematic...
I'm looking for depth mods so I can *connect the other end of my 500k depth pot>470k resistor>*open pad, not shown anywhere I looked everywhere thrice.
I figure it probably goes back toward input to get clean mix from...
   ahhkkk...hours of reverse engineering...
Sho Wish I'dda gotta schemata, even some kind reference what this extra pad on the board ain't......DAFT !

Why don't you look at the schematic included with the Tonepad layout?  I know it's not the same layout as BYOC, but you should be able to puzzle out what is meant by the "depth mod" from looking at that schematic, and/or R.G.'s Phase 180 Plus schematic on GEO.

is the schematic at byoc not the same as your board?

  Whew...
Looks like that 'open' 470k I was talking about isn't open, that pad is going to the 3m9 etc. so leave it off is fine...dunno why I got a extra hole there...and another extra hole in front of the ...other 470k by the input.
Probably for wiring bypass to the depth mod...
whatever...figure that out later, put the LM741's in and see what happens.
This funny pad did get me to go through and test lots of connections..pokey wires in the DMM clips...touching/off/touching/hold/touch the other side..akkk !
I think I got it ...we'll see soon enough.

I been searching for hours for anything that's like my board.
my board is just like the other board [I think...we'll see], except it has extra pads for depth control bypass/no depth control mod...both are 'offboard' pads, larger hole diameter/pad diameter...probably whatever...I'm going to see if it fires up as I've had it wired now for hours...lol.

Somehow the matched Jfet's which sounded great in the phase 90 became mismatched in this phase 90?
I don't suppose 1,2,3,4 'order' of the 4 jfets placements matters...I messed with this and the trimpot..doesn't seem to, don't see why it would.
The LFO is working and changing speed, the Depth pot works too, those pads left open I figured out.
Match Jfets? I was hoping you wouldn't say that, I matched a set for the phase 90 which sounded great but became seemingly intracably intermittent.
What else besides changing the Jfets can I do to tweek phase out of the circuit...it's now moslty very light tremolo.
I used a new 5.1v zener, perhaps I could add some other diode in series or...try something else here?
It's passing what's about unity or above, I figure it's 'working' but its just very light in the phase right now.
I would rather 'match the circuit' to the matched Jfets...best of 100 or so...than go build or try to find that matcher [I cleaned up big time boxes...]...I do have the leftover FET's...but pleeease...lol.

Tried the old Zener across the new one...slight difference, still just a bit of warble during sustain, enough to tell the LFO's working's about it.
I tried turning the JFets around, sounds like a bad pinout would be as likely as anything...
Haven't been able to find the freqkin' pinout again for 5952's...
Plenty of people trying to sell me transistors I don't know the pinout or data sheet on, can't find the data sheet...I'll try for another time or three I guess...don't know where to look anymore.
