Hi has anyone here bought the futurlec ic value pack? did you find it useful? I have bought an IC pack and a lot of the parts seem unfamiliar to me (from looking at the DIY projects around the traps)... i'm sure the 555s and op amps will come in handy but are there any projects which use the voltage regulators and other weird bits and pieces included in the pack?
Bought: zvex woolly mammoth, octane 3, moogerfooger ringmod, frostwave resonator, boss sd1, ds1, dd6
Built: big muff, green ringer, tremulus lune, the crank
Planned: harmonic percolator, pt80, shin ei.

I buy the mylar cap packs, electro cap packs, ceramic cap packs and carbon film resistor packs. They are very useful. They do include some values I would never use, but they have many useful values too. You can't beat the price either.

yea i ordered about $20 of packs from them which all were very useful (i got film caps, ceramic caps, diodes, and resistors)

i mean there is a large amount of values that i might never need but its nice to be able to have the exact right part for every schematic :)
