I recall a page with the schematics for the black, green, and USA Big Muff but I can't find it now.  Do you have the link?

Careful :-X
You are asking for EH schems - these are not allowed on this forum :P ::) :icon_exclaim:

He he, I think the big muffs are safe :icon_lol:
I LOVE the old green Russian Big Muff. It's the best sounding one I ever tried - not all mushy like most of the others. The new "Little Big Muff" is the worst one I've tried so far, with the "Metal Muff" being the second worst (that Top Boost is awful). I know alot of people like the sound of the mushy Big Muffs, but not me, I like the tighter sounding green one. And it's so thick and huge.... but no mush!

does anyone remember this?

The PDF on tonepad shows three different ones, including the blessed green one.

Are you guys going to try to troll in every schematic thread ? It is not helping anyone here. Please stop it.

Andrew

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Wow, even I haven't seen that section of the forum and I've been visiting multiple times a day on various forum formats since about '99!  When did I miss that?

Cool!

I am still digging the green Russian one allot.
Since this thread I built the opamp version. I go back and forth between the green Russian and the op amp one every week or so?

Hello Andrew :)

"Are you guys going to try to troll in every schematic thread ? It is not helping anyone here. Please stop it"

Hey, lighten up :D - I was only having a laugh mate :icon_lol:

Everybody knows where to find those old EH schems by now ::)

I certainly wasn't trolling - whatever that means :o 8)

Seriously folks, I reckon this forum needs a sticky topic the consists entirely of a list of forbidden schematics. No need for explanations why, just a list. This would clarify things, rather than having to sift through various posts to find out which are and which aren't allowed. Someone want to start said list? The latest update to the Read This Before Posting thread doesn't list half the schematics that are supposedly banned here.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was just being safe. Sorry if I seemed harsh. I think right now though you and everyone should be careful about this topic. I think people are sick of it and want to get back to building.

I'm fine with that. How about a new thread on the topic so we don't thread jack the OPs request ? :)

Excellent. Sorry for getting off-topic. Could someone who is a moderator please start and sticky the thread? All I know from the big sticky is:

"This forum had an early agreement to not post schematics for ZVEX and Teese pedals (RMC, Real Mccoy Custom pedals). To this date, this is still the case with the SHO being the lone ZVEX exception. You can discuss any sort of pedal including ways that you might implement similar functionality yourself."

EH is not mentioned there (unless I missed it).

aron

IF you do post a boutique pedal for some reason, please rename and do not address it by any production name - in fact, just call it by whatever type of class of pedal it might be. Boutique fuzz etc.... In addition, please make sure you redraw any schematic using the DIY layout creator or other and do not use artwork or layout work from the  actual pedal.
