It might not be bad to use both tone controls from the fat booster!

Is it the Dino Fuzz that uses a pot between a small and large cap at the input?   :icon_cool:

There are at least three Joe Gagan circuits that use a cap blend pot.
Great idea as it sets the whole tone and feel of the pedal.

I actually prefer it at the END of the circuit,  replacing the output caps...

heres why....

if you put it at the FRONT of many circuits, especially fuzzes, it affects how the fuzz itself reacts, not just the "tone". If you have it set "thinner", the fuzz becomes more of an overdrive...fatter gets a regular fuzztone.

if its at the end of the circuit, the fuzz still acts like a fuzz, but you are able to get a fat or thin FUZZ sound.

of course you can also put it at the front AND the end of a circuit.
