I´m building one Octavia and i´m following the schem and pcb that i found at Fuzzcentral, i have used one TM011transformer and one switch to Fuzz/Octave option, negative ground.
I have checked everything but i have a fart low quality sound the octave/Fuzz switch is not working very well also, only minor sound changes.
Here are my voltages:
Q1:
E=4,33V
B=2,8V
C=2,8V
Q2:
C=9,3V
B=2,8V
E=2,3V
Q3:
C=5V
B=2,3V
E=1,7V

I have also used one audio probe to haunt the problem, i have good audio quality on Q1 and Q2 but when i reach Q3 i have good quality audio at the B and E but i have THAT farting sound on C !! I have already replaced all the transistors but the problem remains. Am i missing something ?

According to that info. the transistors are biased correctly. The Q1 Base was not constant when i began to measure with the DMM, started at 3,15V and stopped at 2,8V then i checked the difference between Base and collector and theres is a fixed value of 0,5V, so, it´s ok. The others seems to be right also.

Dang it, I thought I knew something for a second there. Maybe someone smarter will chime in.

The second guess is a low battery... I had this happen to me with a fuzz face and it was because of a deadish battery.

Nope ! It´s not the battery either, i´m using one power supply.

Don`t know what Tranny`s you`re using but have you checked the pins are correctly oriented. Another classic mistake which I`ve made is getting the input and ground wires reversed. Might be worth a check.
