Hey guys, just wondering if anybody else has one of these.
I've had one lying around for a few years waiting to get resurrected, but i've never got around to it.
Mainly, i'm put off by the wiring, as it appears to be mostly intact, except for the pickups.
I'm a little lost as to how they should be wired to be honest, there doesn't seem to be any solder joints empty, and i'm not even sure how it was originally wired! Just looking at it's giving me a headache!
So, can anybody help me out?

Wooh, a Kimbara? My original guitar was (is!) a 1975 Kimbara LP copy. Bolt-on neck, but still a wonderful tone...

Sorry to derail this thread, but it's so rare to see "Kimbara" in writing anywhere. How much needs to be done to it? Can you put up a photo?

Is this that strat copy with the built in effects?

It is indeed the one with the built-in effects, did I not mention that  :icon_redface:

Apparently it has phaser, auto wah and sustainer distortion (which curiously appears to use a vactrol). All the effects and stuff seem to be wired up, but there's no leads for the pickups, so that's what's confusing me. The guitar itself is completely stripped, and in pretty beat up condition. Looks like a nice one-piece ash body though, so it's definitely worth saving if possible.
