High-Pass Filter

I'm looking to make a high-pass filter. A very simple on and off switch high-pass. I looked around and read a lot about it but I still doubt myself. Can someone give me a schematic for one or maybe explain how the parts should be connected with one another and I'll draw up my own schematic.
