Not to be a buzz kill but I think I have seen some of those images on other sites. If that is the case do you have permission to use those images ? I didn't see any mention of permissions on the images. If you know where the images are from you can credit the source which would lessen possible wraths from owners. If you forgot where you got the images maybe you can put a quick little message explaining that you don't know where they are from but would be willing to credited if contacted.

Once again I am not try to discourage the effort but just want to make sure that this resource does not run into trouble.

Just a few thoughts.

I got an MXR Phase 90 from Buddy today.
He wants me to TB it and add an LED.
Kinda a right of passage for a builder, so I said yes.

Does anyone think I should not modify it? Vintage?

It's almost like routing a Vintage Tele for a humbucker!

wow. some real surprises in there.

some of the work is really sloppy and some is really good.

its pretty easy to tell the difference between the tweekers and the people who put in a lot of care.

I don't think you should mod it but, just my opinion.

Get a new case from pedalpartsplus or one of the other places, rehouse with new switch and all that.  Still have the vintage case unaltered if the owner decides to go back that route, and he gets it the way he wants it.

just build him a new phase 90

its not like there are any parts in that old p90 that dont have equal modern equivilents. my modding it you will be devaluing it immediatly.

a p90 is not hard to build.
