Ok so I built the clean boost and then i found a really simple fuzz/distortion thing i found somewhere else, They both worked but weren't as loud as i would like, and the fuzz was prety rough. So being the newbie that i am i decided to build them again and slave the fuzz to the boost so that it was one pedal with 2 controls. Great Idea but no sound, I am measuring 165 mv on the output side of the circuits, but am not sure how to measure the input impedance, I have battery voltage everywhere i am supposed to but i also have anywhere from 2mv to 260 some mv in other parts of the circuit.  I used the tranny booster from here http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=763.0, and a fuzz circuit from here http://www.ssguitar.com/index.php?topic=378.0 (at the bottom of the page). I did slave the battery connection from the booster to the "fuzz" and the output of the "fuzz leads to the input on the booster. I also wired in a dpdt from here http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=48644.0, and i added a linear 10k pot to the boost between the gain posts of the ic instead a jumper. But i am kind of at a loss, i am showing 8.8 volts from the batt. So what's next??

1. NPN Boost By Gus Smalley from diystompboxes.com, Unnamed Fuzz by Doug deeper from SSGuitar.com
2. http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=763.0, http://www.ssguitar.com/index.php?topic=378.0
3.Built on ic pc board, and perf board
4. Modifications- 10k linear potentiometer on gain circuit of fuzz (between pins 1 and 8 of lm386n), power for fuzz is coming from booster, input is to fuzz output is from booster, dpdt no led switch mod from diystompboxes.com
5.negative signal ground
6.it does nothing when switched on , bypass works fine
7. Battery measures 8.55 volts  off circuit and 8.50 after testing on circuit
8. Voltage at the circuit board end of the red battery lead =8.52
Voltage at the circuit board end of the black battery lead =0.00
